Checking In
When you are near a Site you have checked into before, Sine will automatically send you a “Nearby Site” notification to let you know you are near that Site. Follow the steps below (for your platform):
iOS:
Receive a Nearby notification
2. Upon receiving a notification, press down and apply light pressure to the notification (on the lock-screen). As you apply more pressure, the notification will appear to get larger until it reveals a new set of options (pictured below):
3. Simply touch the Check-in button and you will be automatically checked in. Note: If the site has specific details that need to be filled out such as visitor type or forms, you will be directed to fill them out in the Sine Pro app.
Android:
Receive a Nearby notification
2. Upon receiving the notification, simply place your finger on the bottom half of the notification and pull down. Once you lift your finger the notification will reveal the Check-in button (pictured below):
3. Tap the Check-in button to be automatically checked in. Note: If the Site has specific details that need to be filled out such as visitor type or forms, you will be directed to fill them out in the Sine Pro app.
Checking Out
When you leave the geofence radius of a Site, Sine will automatically send you a “You have left Site” notification. Follow the steps below (for your platform):
iOS:
Leave the Site and receive a “You have left Site” notification
2. Upon receiving a notification, press down and apply light pressure to the notification (on the lock-screen). As you apply more pressure, the notification will appear to get larger until it reveals a new set of options (pictured below):
3. Touch the Check-out button and you will be automatically checked out. Note:If the site has check-out forms to be filled out, you will be taken to the Sine Pro app and asked to fill out the correct details.
Android:

Setting up Swipe Notifications
To receive push notifications, there are a couple of things you need to make sure are switched on.
Android Settings
Navigate to your profile on Sine Pro by touching the three line icon on top of the displayed page:
and select 'Profile':
2. Preferences and Notifications Settings will be on display:
* Ensure that Push Notifications is Enabled
4. Select 'Site Settings' under Preferences. Enable Nearby and Checkout Notifications under Global settings:
* If you want this to be site specific, go to site specific settings
iOS Settings
Navigate to your profile on Sine Pro and click on the cog icon:
2. Select 'Notifications'
3. Enable Push Notification and other setup required:
4. To customize notifications for sites you have checked into before, go back to settings and select 'Site Preferences' :
5. Enable Nearby and Checkout Notifications under Global settings:
