Sine's auto check-in feature allows your visitors to automatically check-in to your site using the Sine Pro mobile app. Auto check-in is available on all Sine plans.

1. Once auto check-in has been enabled by Sine, visit dashboard.sine.co and access your Sites tab.

2. Select the Site you'd like to activate mobile check-in for and click on Settings

3. Select Passes and scroll down to Mobile Check-in Requirements. Toggle Permitted Automatic Check-in to on.

4. Configure Auto check-in, based on visitor type:

Unavailable: Auto check-in is not available for this visitor type. Returning visitors of this visitor type won't see the option to enable auto check-in within their Sine Pro app preferences.

Defaults to On: Returning mobile app visitors for this visitor type will automatically be opted-in to Auto check-in however, they may disable this feature from within their Sine Pro app site preferences. 

Defaults to Off: Returning mobile app visitors will not automatically be opted-in to Auto check-in however, they may enable this feature from within their Sine Pro app site preferences, if they wish to use it.

Further Configuration Required
Certain site settings/requirements may impact Auto check-in functionality. Namely:

  • Hosts must not be required for the specific visitor type(s) using auto check-in
  • Check-in approval must not be required for the specific visitor type(s) using auto check-in
  • Check-in forms must not be required for the specific visitor type(s) using auto check-in
