The photo required site setting asks visitors to provide a photo of themselves during check-in.
When enabled, the behaviour varies by check-in experience:
SinePoint Pro: Visitors will be prompted to take a photo during check-in.
Sine Pro: Visitors will need to have a profile picture set on their Sine account.
Web check-in: Visitors will be asked to upload a photo.
To enable photo required for visitors:
Click the Locations button from the sidebar navigation.
Select your desired site.
Under the Passes tab, navigate to the Check-in requirements section and enable the Photo required setting
Click on Save in the top right corner of site settings
At this point any visitors checking in will be required to provide a photo when checking in.
Configuring photo required by visitor type
When the photo required setting is enabled, you can configure specific visitor types to not require a photo during check-in. This allows you to tailor the check-in experience for different types of visitors at your site.

To configure photo required by visitor type:
With the Photo required toggle enabled, click the Edit button to open the Photo required settings.
Using the Don't require photo during check-ins dropdown, select the visitor types that should not require a photo during check-in.
Update your configuration.
After saving, the check-in experience will change for visitors checking in under the configured visitor types:
SinePoint Pro: The photo capture screen will not be shown.
Sine Pro: A profile picture will no longer be required on the visitor’s account to check-in.
Web check-in: The photo upload field will still be displayed but will be marked as optional.
Capture new photo on each check-in
In the photo required settings modal, there is an additional setting for returning visitors which requires a new photo to be taken on each check-in. When enabled, returning visitors will be required to take a new photo every time, rather than using a previously captured photo.
To enable capture new photo on each check-in:
Enable the Capture new photo on each check-in toggle.
Update your configuration.
Note: Sine Pro and Web check-in do not support returning visitor check-in, meaning visitors using those check-in experiences will always be required to provide a photo if the photo required setting is enabled.
